Here we go...

Erik set up this blog so we could all stay connected with Paul's progress.

Hopefully this will be an easy way to keep informed.

You deserve the world's best medical care, Paul, and the Mayo is the place to be. You will be in good hands, and you, Steph, Emma, and Sarah will be in our hearts, on our minds, and in our prayers.

"Keep Calm and Carry On."  We all know the best way to keep calm is to vent every once in awhile with tears and a few good curse words.  Let us know how we can help with keeping, venting, and carrying on!

  1. Hey Paul and family!

Just watching the Vikes and working at the taco truck today...

You will be in my thoughts tomorrow, I hope everything goes well, at least we know you will be in good hands.

    Take care,
    Erik

  4. Man, I didn't even know Paul had a problem. Sometimes wayward cousins like myself aren't kept in the loop about family matters. Whatever Paul is dealing with I wish him a quick and full recovery.

  5. Paul and Steph,
I was sorry to hear about Paul's possible diagnosis. I hope and pray that you get the best possible test results. I will pray for you every night as I am sure everyone will. Prayer can be powerful tool. I have 2 extra bedrooms if you ever need a place to stay on your trips to Rochester.

  7. Paul, Steph, Emma, Sarah and the entire Hougen clan.....We will keep all of you in our prayers for strength, healing and understanding. May God hold you close and watch over and guide your doctors and caregivers in your treatments and cares. If there is anything we can do-big or small-let us know. Until then, we pray.
